Stay away. I paid close to £1,000, after which the firm took the money and assigned me a junior barrister who was completely unequipped to handle the complexity of my case. The service was a total failure.
To make matters worse, after this poor outcome they had the audacity to ask whether I wanted to use the same barrister for an appeal, of course requiring further payment.
I raised my concerns by email with Richard, the solicitor who was my initial point of contact (I would strongly advise avoiding him). He did not even have the professional courtesy to respond.
This company appears to be primarily focused on maximising profit rather than providing a competent or humane service. Once your money is in their bank, any sense of responsibility or care for the client seems to disappear.
For me, the human factor matters most. Being completely ignored after paying such a substantial sum is unforgivable. Your case means everything to you; to them, it is just another pay cheque.
I strongly recommend looking elsewhere—ideally somewhere that treats clients with care, accountability, and basic decency.
