Very poor service. Never anyone available to help so they say they’ll get back in touch which they fail to do. Dialled the Macclesfield office and got through to the Stockport office and spoke to a very unhelpful person who told me to just keep calling.
I appreciate they might not be able to man the phones permanently but they need to manage customer’s expectations better.

Walked past here today (closed as Bank Holiday) and I could see peoples’ paperwork, complete with names and addresses, visible from the window! Very concerning that they’re treating clients’ data in this way!

After selling a property through this company I cannot recommend them to anyone considering using them as conveyancers. No communication and even sent e mails to the wrong adress.
THP have lowered the standards of a once professional practice in Macclesfield.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with THP Law has been so frustrating that I feel I need to warn others.

Throughout the process, communication was almost non-existent. Emails often went unanswered, and when I called, no one was available to speak. I was promised call-backs on more than ten occasions and not one materialised. You spend most of your time chasing for updates rather than being kept informed.

Whether you’re a first-time buyer or not, don’t expect to be guided through the process – you’ll have to do your own research and piece things together yourself. The advice I received over the months was inconsistent and confusing, and after 18 weeks of waiting I was ultimately told they were still unsure whether I could even buy the property, due to a planning issue that could and should have been identified and addressed much earlier.

They were quick to take payment for searches, but then sat on my file for nearly two months before progressing anything. Had I been properly advised, I could have withdrawn far earlier and avoided paying for unnecessary surveys and checks that I was encouraged to carry out in the meantime.

It’s now been 20 weeks since I first engaged THP Law, and I’ve had to withdraw from the purchase — hundreds of pounds and countless hours wasted. I’ve still not received any acknowledgment of my withdrawal email sent over ten days ago.

In short: slow, unresponsive, and disorganised. I wouldn’t recommend this firm to anyone buying a property.
