I contacted DJMS Solicitors regarding a serious legal matter and was told I would be contacted the same day. It has now been five weeks with no response, no update, and no explanation, despite chasing.

They were quick to have me sign Legal Aid paperwork, but after that, communication completely stopped. Given the seriousness of the situation, this lack of engagement is extremely concerning — clearly it wasn’t that serious to them.

Based on my experience, I will also be raising concerns with the Legal Aid Agency Counter Fraud and Investigations team. If you need a solicitor who communicates or progresses your case, I strongly suggest going elsewhere.

Do not use these solicitors best off going to a different firm believe me they dont care about you only want to be paid

Can only speak from personal experience, not keeping in contact, very poor advice, not turning up, losing vital paperwork..... would absolutely
NOT recommend.

Went to Chris Wilson in 2017 with a theft and fraud charge pending. He stood by my side right the way till 2025 helping me with everything that needed to be done.
