I can’t recommend this firm based on my experience.

The purchase completed successfully, but the level of communication throughout was poor. I repeatedly had to chase for replies, updates and answers to important questions. As a first-time buyer, I was still asking fundamental questions about the legal arrangements, rights and ongoing obligations the day before completion, despite having raised the same issues over several weeks.

I ended up spending hours reading Land Registry documents, the TP1 and researching legal terminology myself because I didn’t feel I had the advice I needed before committing to the biggest purchase of my life.

I raised these concerns through the firm’s complaints procedure. Rather than acknowledging how frustrating the experience had been, the response was largely defensive and repeatedly referred to conversations with my father before I became the client, which completely missed the point of my complaint. Once I instructed and paid the firm, I expected advice to be given to me directly.

For fees of around £1,300, I expected a far better level of communication and client care. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t use the firm again.

Would be good if the opening hours on Google were accurate.
