Really unpleasant experience with both the front desk and the solicitor. Very rude and unhelpful, glad I went elsewhere for probate work. Re Kirwans helpful response they don't 'recognise' me - hilarious - here's the email I sent them: "These upsetting times when you really need advice and you’re met with a 'computer says no' response rather than some humanity just aren’t easily forgotten.

I can never get through on the phone and the first time I called I was told all lawyers had gone at 3pm. I live in America so I can’t operate with a firm like that.

I know [my relative] bought and sold her home through you too so I was hoping it would work out well, but the lack of professionalism is clear. I actually heard one of your colleagues loudly discussing a case when I was in the office today, deeply unprofessional". Very glad I didn't use Kirwan for the probate after the hideous, slow treatment I got.

This was our first time buying a house and it's been almost a breeze. There were a few hiccups from down the chain and our solicitor Deborah dealt with it in such a timely manner and honestly had the patience of a saint with us and with the chain. The trainee solicitor Tanya was also fantastic, my wife rang her a bit panicked as we were getting hounded from the estate agents and Tanya helped calm her down and sort it all out! It's not been a smooth ride but the Deborah helped it be as stressful free as it could. 10/10 would recommend and go with again!

Needed my signature on a TR1 form witnessing for my house sale. I don't know anyone here that isn't an "interested party" so stupidly thought I would ask a conveyancer and would maybe have to pay a fiver. Well, I was met with "we don't do that here". This is a conveyancer who doesn't know what a TR1 form is and doesn't recognise the concept of signing in the presence of a witness. Very VERY glad I didnt choose this solicitor when I sold my house through an estate agent literally two doors down from them!

Absolutely fantastic service throughout. Andrew Hazeldine dealt with our conveyancing and he was excellent. It was a difficult sale to say the least and he was professional, helpful and gave great communication and was available at all times. He went above and beyond which us a rare thing these days. If you are buying a house, do not hesitate to use Kirwans services! Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Abysmal treatment of clients. Had two cases of mine, one for over a year and one for over 3 months and they have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. For the first case, the woman handling it left the business and it wasn't handed over until I enquired about the silence. For the second situation, I had no response from them for three months and then the advice that followed was considered to be completely incompetent by another solictior. Inexcusably bad handling of the cases; they clearly are only looking for straight-forward easy work.
