I had an excellent experience with Stokes, Crewkerne. Nicola McIntyre, our lawyer, was incredibly patient and thorough in dealing with probate. The services are good value and Nicola was always responsive and focussed. She also spotted errors that the Revenue had made, and followed up to correct.

I would strongly recommend you avoid Stokes Partners and would give them no stars if it was possible. This partnership cost me very dearly when handling my divorce and I've been paying for it ever since. As an admission of guilt on their behalf I did not receive any invoice from them... pretty unusual for solicitors (bearing in mind their hourly rates)! I was forced to appoint (and pay for) another firm of solicitors to try and sort the mess out that Stokes Partners created - it still cost me a fortune and a very unfortunate situation ensued (for over six years). Be warned, proceed with this partnership at your risk.
