I was told I would receive a follow-up email to proceed — that never arrived. No email, no call back. I then phoned again and spoke to the department head’s assistant, who said he would call me back. He never did.

The lack of communication and basic follow-up is shocking. I’ve wasted time chasing them instead of getting any actual help. I also have friends currently mid-way through cases with this firm who are now planning to leave because of similar issues.

Slow, disorganised, and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend based on my experience.

Lewis hastie handled a claim for me and my sister under the inheritance act.
It was quite a long and complex case but we received a satisfactory conclusion and the work carried out on our behalf was professional and very helpful keeping us up to date all along.

My elderly mum lives in a nursing home, and wanted to arrange a will. BRM were happy to visit the home, and that was very much appreciated. Bernadette was so pleasant and could not have been more helpful. Really impressed, and BRM will certainly be the first place I turn to if I need a solicitor in future.
