Needs significant improvement especially with overseas clients that have poor proficiency in English.
I've been using Paul Robinson Solicitors for a family law case for some years. But the inconsistency in transparency and safeguarding my elderly parents is unsatisfactory. They lack the understanding of cultural differences makes it even worse.

This includes interacting with customers who cannot speak English or have no proficiency in English law or comprehension. Due to their mishandling of my parents divorce case and tenant eviction they totally made a mess of a bad situation.

Paul Robinson Solicitors were informed that one property was in disrepair and they spent several weeks trying to advise us. Due to conflict of interest with mother and father getting back together they had further messed up divorce proceedings about trying to safeguard my mother and the outcome of the divorce and transfer of properties.

The litigation team also caused a further problem with my parents, to a point where I am no longer in contact with my family and my family have removed me from any inheritance. The firm has no comprehension about language barriers and and making sure the the customer has comprehension of law and the implications of poor advice. The firm was also instructed to investigate equity release fraud to the total sum of £82,000.00 by the family.

The firm had been advised a member of the family had forged signatures and documents to extort money from Halifax Mortgages. The firm took too long in getting this investigated. They also spent several months trying to correct titles deeds for my mother.

Due to the poor advise and systematic poor admistration the above has both caused loses to my mother and I have also lost a family and inheritance which I was promised by my mother when divorce proceedings began.

The firm has lost 2 stars today due poor customer service including the request for basic administrative requests and front of house service. This includes staff attitude towards general requests and staff attitude when attending their office and made to wait outside on the steps.

Communication is poor when you leave messages for depts or solicitors despite accounts being in order.

This review will be updated if customer service improves. In the meantime they will remain 3 stars.

I was referred to Paul Robinson by a mortgage broker I was working with at the time, and my first point of contact was Andrew McClintock. From the very first conversation, Andrew was impressive. He spoke with real clarity and knowledge, made everything easy to understand, and gave me a lot of confidence in the firm. He referred me to Megan Brown at the Stratford office, and she carried that same standard throughout.
I worked with Megan and Cara-Leigh across two property transactions. The first ultimately didn't proceed, as we made the difficult decision to withdraw after it became clear that resolving a key issue with the freeholder would take far longer than was workable for us. But Megan's advice throughout was excellent, and she was working against some very difficult solicitors on the sellers' side, which she handled with real composure. Even though that purchase didn't complete, I trusted her enough to bring her back for my second.
That second transaction had its own complications: a Right to Buy covenant requiring council sign-off before we could proceed. Megan's searches were thorough, her title report was clear, and she kept things moving without unnecessary delay.
Megan's perseverance meant that my whole experience was headache-free. Megan was always prompt, picked up my calls whenever I needed with a friendly voice, and took the time to explain things properly. Cara-Leigh was equally organised and responsive on the admin side, and always on top of the paperwork. And a special mention to Grace on reception, who I met on both visits to drop off documents. She welcoming, with some warm chat, and made me feel genuinely valued as a client.
A great team from start to finish. I intend to continue to use Paul Robinson's services again in the future.

I do not recommend Paul Robinson Solicitors based on my recent experience working with Emily Gowers during a property purchase.
Communication was extremely poor - my calls were not returned, responses were very slow, and important checks (such as the source-of-funds review) were carried out far too late, which caused unnecessary delays. My solicitor also went on holiday without informing me in advance, which left me with complete radio silence at a crucial point in the transaction.
During this time, I was under constant pressure from the estate agent, and the lack of timely support from my solicitor made the whole experience very stressful.
Overall, the service felt disorganised and not client-focused, and I was genuinely disappointed with how my matter was handled. I have worked with solicitors many times in the past, but unfortunately this was the worst experience I’ve had.

I cannot thank Donna Duca, her assistant Raquel Raumer, and the entire team at Paul Robinson Solicitors enough! Selling my HMO property was an incredibly stressful experience, but from the very first moment, they made me feel supported, reassured, and cared for.
Donna’s expertise, patience, and calm guidance were invaluable—she always explained everything clearly and made me feel confident at every step. Raquel was amazing too—always so quick to respond, organised, and attentive to every detail. I honestly don’t know how I would have managed without them.
