I am writing this in response to the company’s public reply suggesting they did not represent me. That statement is categorically untrue.
I was represented by this firm and spent a significant sum in legal fees.
Initially, it appeared that “Nev” would be handling my case. However, on the day of court I was assigned a trainee solicitor, contracted by Mackenzies, who had little to no familiarity with my case file. This was both unexpected and deeply concerning.
The representation I received did not reflect the level of expertise or preparation that had been implied at the outset. For the fees charged, I expected competent, informed and consistent legal support. That is not what I experienced.
What is particularly troubling is the firm’s pattern of publicly responding to negative reviews by claiming they have never represented the reviewer. In my case, that assertion is completely false.
The response to my review has been dismissive rather than professional. I have retained documentation and proof of representation.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to carry out thorough due diligence before instructing this firm.
