Having seen great reviews for Carly Madsen regarding wills, my wife and I decided to use Frodshams and requested Carly. She did not let us down, her patience in answering many questions and the advice she gave was excellent. The first draft needed some little tweeks which Carly understood and made, the second draft was perfect. All signed and stored in Frodshams vault with copies in our safe at home. Thank you very much Carly, it has been a pleasure.

I am very grateful to Carly at Frodshams Solicitors for helping my parents plan for their future. It is something they had wanted to do for a long time but couldnt seem to find the right advice. Carly took the time to listen to them, their aims and worries and created a bespoke plan which works for them. Thank you so much for your kindness, simple explanations and speedy actions, much appreciated.

My partner and myself bought our first house back in November, with Frodshams Solicitors acting on our behalf. We had our offer accepted on May 13th and were so excited for our move, working out that the 10/12 week 'typical' timeframe would mean we would be moving in around mid August/early September.
The first few weeks were great, I couldn't complain about communication at all. Most emails were from 'Lucy Young', who answered all my questions and replied promptly. Happy days!
In the last week of July, we received an email. 'Rachel is taking over your case from Ben'.
Ben?! Who on earth is Ben? I scoured my emails, searching the word 'Ben' but nothing came up. I never did find out how who Ben was but god I missed him after his departure.
But not to worry, I emailed Rachel, introducing myself and asking for an update on where everything was up to.
Silence.
For 3 weeks.
During this time, our landlord informed us she was selling the house we lived in. We were given 2 months notice. Naively I thought 'it's okay, we'll be long gone by then.'
I emailed weekly, asking for some sort of update and informed them of my situation, meaning urgency was needed. I called several times, always told 'Rachel is in a meeting/on annual leave/working from home, she'll call you back by the end of the day'. No calls came.
After 3 weeks I called again, demanding a reply from Rachel as time was ticking and we were in limbo regarding our living situation. She eventually emailed back, so we knew she did exist!
We managed to get things moving along, eventually reaching the point where we had signed everything we needed. The whole time I'm having to chase Rachel for replies, calling to be told the same 'she's in a meeting'-style excuses. I don't believe I was ever directly put through to her.
The sellers ended up being very held up on their end frustratingly, so we had to wait around for them to sort their things out, which is another whole story and not the fault of our solicitors (although again some clarity on things would have been great). We ended up having to move to my mum's house in the meantime and put stuff into storage.
Eventually, we were given a completion date, great news! However, guess what? Rachel was on annual leave the week we were completing! You couldn't write it.
We were passed on to India, who was great, professional and replied to emails and calls. Our move was successfully completed, 6 months to since getting the offer accepted.
The end.

I had an excellent experience with Frodsham Solicitors during the purchase of my recent buy-to-let property. Sue King and Karen were both extremely professional, responsive, and supportive throughout the entire process. They explained everything clearly, kept me well informed at each stage, and handled matters efficiently, which made the transaction smooth and stress-free. Their attention to detail and proactive communication gave me great confidence. I would highly recommend Sue, Karen, and the team at Frodsham Solicitors to anyone looking for reliable and knowledgeable conveyancing support.

I honestly cannot recommend this conveyancing firm highly enough. Sue and Karen have been nothing short of exceptional from start to finish.
What is usually a stressful, overwhelming process was made incredibly smooth and straightforward thanks to their professionalism, efficiency, and genuinely outstanding communication. Sue in particular went above and beyond — emailing at all hours, keeping us constantly updated, and always being one step ahead. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
Both Sue and Karen were so easy to deal with: prompt, clear, friendly, and reassuring throughout. Every question was answered quickly, every step explained clearly, and we always felt completely supported and in safe hands.
If you’re looking for a conveyancing team that is proactive, responsive, and truly cares about making the process as stress-free as possible, look no further. An absolutely brilliant service — we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone
