Mercy Messenger

My divorce experience fully echos another reviewers here. Mercys almost arrogant behaviour can give confidence but she does not deliver, instead delegates and does not stay close to your case or the detail at all. And you pay for this financially it's terrible. I sunk so much money into this and then had to go to another solicitor to complete my divorce as costs were too high and zero progress was made. So terrible I contemplated going to the ombudsman but with the stress of the divorce on top of this it was all too much. Please please avoid.

Unfortunately a very stressful and in the end unprofessional experience at the hands of Mercy Messenger solicitors. Badly advised at the beginning by the solicitor handling the family side only for her to go off sick indefinitely almost from the very start leaving you in the hands of Mercy herself which proved very damaging and expensive. Her recommendation and usage of barristers proved a complete waste of time and money both for the family and also financial sides. In court not only was one misinformed and totally out of her depth but another charged full day for @3 hours work. Mercy is very good at selling you the promise and comes across with an almost arrogant demeanour that does install some sort of confidence in you that she will deliver but alas proved not so.
I have since been informed from a close friend who’s ex wife used Mercy just how much it cost her and how much it echoed my own experience with broken promises and lack of fight.
There are so many better law firms out there as I found after coming away from Mercy because I was afraid she would not only wipe me out but destroy all hope with the children side. Alas I should have been brave enough to walk away for the financial as well. To end it all Mercy sent the final bill to my seriously ill father with no communication to myself and did not have the courtesy to complete my divorce.
I write this with a heavy heart as I am not normally this annoyed but I would not want anyone else to feel how I do.

I was referred to Mercy Messenger Solicitors by personal recommendation and from the outset I knew that I was in safe hands. Mercy is hugely experienced, and every member of the team is a consummate professional. I was given good advice at every stage and when things got very stressful, I knew I had absolutely no need to worry.
I am indebted to Mercy for her guidance and oversight and to my solicitor, Lauren Parton, who is quite simply amazing. She is incredibly efficient, and her organisational skills are second to none. She is articulate and incisive and managed my case superbly. I was particularly impressed at how accessible she was via. phone and Email and always responded promptly to both.
