My wife and I used SB Lawyers for conveyancing on our first house, and we were well looked after. Lisa and Abby-May were great at staying in touch which we appreciated, and both were excellent at explaining the process and all the forms in language that was easy to understand. Lisa was particularly helpful at the start, when I explained that my wife and I are neurodivergent and we were finding the whole process overwhelming, Lisa spent time on the phone with me, talking me through everything and really taking the time to make sure I understood what was needed of me. Even though I'm sure this was one of many transactions that were being handled at the same time, I do feel like we were given proper attention and the whole process was about as smooth as it could have been. I should be clear that there were the same delays that I have learned I would expect of any conveyancing service, but I would certainly recommend them for this service nonetheless! The experience we had with SB Lawyers was extremely poor.
They were dealing with our leasehold extension. We were selling the property we extended a leasehold for, and when we received and offer on it, we asked SB Lawyers to expedite the registration of our new title in the Land Registry. We were informed that the request was raised, however after not hearing anything back for some time, we called Land Registry ourselves. We found out that registration of our title started 4 months before, and Land Registry sent a requisition with multiple follow ups to SB Lawyers, however they stayed unanswered/ignored until the day I called. I believe I don't have to mention how much stress it caused us, and how much it delayed the sale of our property.
I found the way they handled our case to be very unprofessional.
I must mention that two ladies who were dealing with us at the end were polite and responsive, however managing director was rude and arrogant.

I was happy with my experience with SB Lawyers Pontypridd for
Conveyancing. I was recommended to Marie Lewis and her team by my mortgage advisor. I was a bit unsure at first, as there were some contradictions in the initial paper work. However, my mind was put at ease by her team. Overall, they were easy to get hold of and sometimes would call me first. If I didn't speak to Marie directly, her whole team were very knowledgable of the progress and in the loop at all times. Their communication was good. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I would use again and recommend.

My sale was complicated and at times I felt like throwing in the towel. Lisa reassured me, worked tirelessly and used a great deal of tenacity to get things completed. Like a terrier not being able to let go…..her words! She even emailed me on a Sunday saying she wanted to get things over the line for me!!!
All the team would message me with updates and were polite and professional at all times. It’s refreshing to see such top class customer service these days where far too often, the mediocre seems to pass as standard.
