MOTLEY & HOPE

I needed them to update some documents that I held with this solicitor, so I email my contact and got on auto reply back saying she only worked part-time so please bear with her.
Two weeks later, realizing I'd not had a response, I emailed her again and also copied in "Reception" who replied saying that that solicitor hadn't worked there for over 18 months
Reception then came back to me saying I can make an appointment to see the replacements solicitor , I gave them various dates & time options and that was the last I ever heard from them - a month later & still no response . And me an existing customer!!
What a completely useless firm of solicitors.
I've now taken all of my business elsewhere

I first dealt with Motley & Hope last year (2024) and again this year (2025). They were extremely sensitive and professional in dealing with a family Will. They took the time to help me understand all processes and explained everything clearly. All communication was prompt. I would highly recommend Motley & Hope and I will be using their services again in the future.

Absolute waste of time literally. Reeled us in, whatever and wherever we needed to see them they could deal with it.
No emails, no follow up phone calls as promised and lame excuses. Don’t waste your time because they don’t value yours.
I’m surprised they have such a long waiting list tbh… at least that’s what we were told?

I've used them many times in the past, most recently in connection with a first registration of a house built in the 50 years ago, which was achieved with efficiency in a timely manner. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Took money quickly enough. Had to chase several times for them to do anything at all. Utterly useless. Complaint filed with SRA.
