I instructed KGW Law for my divorce proceedings, with Karin Walker initially taking on my case. However, much of the work was later passed to other junior staff, with her involvement seeming inconsistent throughout the process.

Communication was slow and reactive, which added unnecessary stress during an already difficult situation. I also felt the advice I received lacked clear strategic direction, despite the significant fees being charged.

For a firm of this profile, I expected continuity, efficiency, and clear guidance. Instead, I was left feeling unsupported while costs continued to escalate.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend KGW Law for divorce proceedings and I would not use them again in any capacity.

I think my 'favourite' part was when our mediator explained (unbidden) to me, a man whose parents are both struggling to keep their head above water in their old age, how she had managed to save £25000 for her daughter's flat deposit in an ISA. Tone deaf in the extreme.
