Philip provided a fast, and meticulous service to an excellent standard. We were struggling to find a solicitor to do ILA's and Philip sorted this out for us with no problem and in such a speedy manner. It's very rare to find people that work to this excellent level of customer service anymore. I highly highly recommend.

They handled the conveyancing for the sale of my late father's property. They always kept me up to date, and when the buyer's solicitors dropped the ball on the exchange date, Philip Smart & team stepped up and were persistent in trying to contact the buyer's solicitors. They were able to ensure we exchanged contracts on time, for completion the next day. You only really get to see how good a firm is when things go wrong, and Philip Smart & team were up to the task. Used them to deal with Mother in Laws estate. Antiquated, slow and never kept us updated unless we chased them. Most efficient task carried out was cashing our cheque payment within hours of receipt ( We actually asked them to send us the bill). WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND DO NOT RECOMMEND

lost some pages of my affidavit on his desk and should have realised an international court document needs a notary...this cost me an extra £500 in overseas solicitors fees and postage...his colleague was unapologetic when I went back.
