My experience with Rupert Wood & Son Solicitors was extremely disappointing. The process took far longer than it should have, and communication was poor throughout. I constantly had to chase them for updates, and they didn’t even contact me to let me know that completion had taken place.

They also struggled to answer straightforward questions and were incredibly slow to respond. Their delays nearly caused my house purchase to fall through. I was also surprised by additional charges that were added to my final bill, as these had not been clearly explained to me in advance.

Overall, I found the service frustrating and stressful, and I would not recommend Rupert Wood & Son Solicitors.

Excellent service from start to finish

We recently completed the purchase of our new home with Rupert Wood, and we couldn't be happier with the service we received.

From the very beginning, communication was excellent. We were kept informed throughout every stage of the transaction, and any questions or concerns we had were answered promptly and clearly. Buying a property can be a stressful experience, but the support and guidance we received made the whole process much smoother.

The team was always professional, approachable and responsive. We felt well looked after from start to finish and always had confidence that our purchase was progressing in the right direction.

For us, this purchase meant far more than simply buying a house. It marked the beginning of a new chapter in our lives after a very difficult period, and we are incredibly grateful for the support we received in helping us reach this milestone.

Rupert Wood & Sons handled a very complicated sale of my parents' home whilst my father was in hospital and were outstanding in the way they communicated and dealt with this matter. They managed a Power of Attorney and a very high pressure sale in a timely manner in order to achieve a sale to satisfy a bridging finance deadline and before my father could die which would have made the sale fail. i cannot recommend the team at Rupert Wood highly enough.

We used Rupert Wood for the sale of our late father's house. Ashley, Jackie and Ellie were great, keeping us informed and making the process as easy as possible. The whole process from probate being granted to completion was around 4 weeks. Rates were very competitive also. Would highly recommend.

Rupert wood eventually lost the sale of my house. An investor who was getting my house cheaper threatened to pull out 3 times and eventually did as RW failed to send off documents etc on numerous occasions. My estate agent who worked for a competant solicitors a couple of years previous told me through their negligence I had now lost the sale of my house and advised me to seek legal action against them. Also a locum who worked for the firm said he had many people who had complained about this particular solitor . When I made a complaint the owner was nearly an hour late for the app(for which no apology was given) didnt look at me once throughout and denied having any complaints againt the solicitor in question ( despite the locum for the firm and other professionals such as the bank manager for the building society Halifax and other professionals stating the poor unprofessional service they recieved. I found them8 Very unprofessional and incompetant.
