We instructed Blackhams for conveyancing of our first house purchase. I enquired by phone and Tracey Allsopp took the time to fully understand our situation and sent over a reasonable quote – (other firms I contacted in Birmingham were rude and couldn’t wait to get you off the phone). From that point on I knew we were in safe hands. They were very responsive and did what we asked of them. Only problem was the use of the Thirdfort App to verify identity, which could be quite cumbersome and unresponsive. But otherwise, stellar service and highly recommended.

I delt with Ben James, during the sale of my house. Due to the age and condition of the house and that it was part of a probate case it was more complex. However Ben and his team handled the difficulties politly and efficiently and kept to their fixed price quotation. I was nicely impressed.

Martin was our conveyancer on our first move and was absolutely fantastic, he kept us informed at every occasion and was transparent with the process so we felt very in control of everything.

On our second move we changed due to personally knowing another solicitor. The service fell very short of Martin’s, and despite not representing us, Martin and Tracey were incredibly helpful in offering advice and helping to resolve problems that arose based on their previous findings. We will absolutely go back to the firm under any future circumstance where we need solicitors and wholeheartedly recommend their service.

I trust Martin Allsopp completely and have done for many years. He makes sure that you understand what is being said or signed. If I need legal guidance he would always be my first port of call.
