My family contacted Rothley Law after my grandfathers carer had disappeared with his entire estate following his death. Not having the funds to pay up front, we had been shunned by our local solicitors and were feeling like we had no options left.

To make a very long story short, Adam Draper and his colleagues were absolutely unbelievable. From start to finish they guided us through the process and instilled us with total confidence that we would prevail.

We were able to recover all the funds and justice was totally served.

Started well but terrible after care
Started off speaking to someone who was so reassuring, took the time to listen and made me aware of his schedule, if i wanted an update even if i was told one would not be available for a while, i was told to call. He understood reassurance went a long way and gave me confidence in the firm.
8 weeks later, an update was made and the firm was able to argue on my behalf for return of funds that had been lost with my bank. This eventually came to a resolution last september after a year of approaching the firm and both myself and they were aware of monies being received. I was under the impression that Rothley Law would have received their percentage prior to me receiving any funds so did not think to contact them.
6 months after the payments have been received, they made a phone call which I missed unfortunately. They did however send an email asking for immediate response to the outcome (of which they already had note of).
I replied late due to other priorities however John Burdett was pretty snappy with this and demanded I send over my bank statement to confirm.
I replied with said statement and recieved an invoice very promptly after. Before 7 full days were even up to pay the invoice, I received another email threatening further action if payment was not made and no contact was made within 7 days.
Ive since settled this, within the 7 days the original contract states i had to pay after receiving the invoice however find the after care appalling. Most people dont have that kind of lump sum just ready to spare despite if they recieved the funds a while back. I was under the impression they had recieved their part as no contact or follow up was made after the resolution.
Note to anyone considering the company, check the process yourself or look about for another firm.
