Very happy, Leanne helped us pay off our help to buy loan in a very timely manner. She kept us informed throughout the process and if at any point i wanted an update, she provided the detail i needed.

Her knowledge of the process meant that potential obstacles were identified before they materialised, then dealt with before they caused any delays. I was also given clear instructions for what i needed to do at each stage.

I had high expectations of the work being done in a timeframe that is much faster than typical given our circumstances, I'm delighted to say this was more than met.

I attended an appointment here this morning that I had made after taking advice from the law centre. This was regarding a cease and desist letter I wanted sent to a family member who keeps posting pictures and videos online of my deceased daughter,  The solicitor was Howard Nulty, he was unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable, treated me as though I was stupid saying that sending a letter would do no good. When various family members that know the individual all think that a letter would be enough to stop this. I was told that I have no right to protect my daughter's pictures or her daughters being upset by seeing these posts online.  And was told can't you just ignore it? He seemed like he just couldn't be bothered and I was clearly getting upset yet he still kept on trying to push for mediation instead, when this matter has clearly gone way past that. If he had no intention of doing the letter then why waste my time giving an appointment. After I said yes I still wanted a letter done , I was told it's £600 plus VAT paid now. This wasn't an issue as I had brought the funds with me to pay today, it just felt like a demand pay now then I will do the letter. I would have gladly paid twice that amount to get this done and stop all the upset that is being caused .At this point I was upset and didn't want to be crying, I didn't feel comfortable in his presence and left saying I would get another solicitor to do the letter. The previous solicitor and reception staff I dealt with were all lovely and professional. And this review is purely based on the experience with Mr Nulty. However the experience has put me off using the law centre again.

SHL gave us excellent service during the sale process of my father's house. As a probate sale, it was handled by SHL sensitively and efficiently. Communication was timely and professional. Highly recommend.
