Needed ID1 form witnessed. Told on the phone £150 plus Vat and had to be paid cash... I'll assume the vat will be paid 🤣my letter stated it needed 2 signed photos, she would only sign one and said they don't need 2.
The solicitor came down with no shoes or socks on, jeans and what looked like a penguin pyjama top. I asked for receipt for the cash payment. Just got given a comp slip with many thanks £180, Clarke and Rowe. Not very professional found the experience quite strange really.

Awfully bad experience with this company this morning. Called to ask for a simple process to be carried out on a quote. But was unable to help me because I wasn’t a client of that how do you become a client I asked. Well it’s quite a long process we have to do lots of forms and stuff like that do they want the work Myself !

Terrible experience selling a shared owernship property and purchasing a house with Porter Dodson. It went on for 9 months only to fall through. My solictor did not check that my property hadn't been registered by the Land Registry until the last minute, in which time my sellers pulled out. I lost £3k in legal fees. Never again.
